Overview

Corebid ("we," "us," or "our") provides cloud software for electrical contractors to build takeoffs, price bids, and generate proposal documents. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use Corebid.com and the Corebid application.

Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, company name, and authentication credentials you provide at sign-up.
• Business data — projects, takeoff line items, pricing presets, proposals, uploaded plans or CSV files, and integration settings you store in Corebid.
• Usage data — log data, device/browser type, and product analytics needed to operate and improve the service.
• Payment data — billing is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on Corebid servers.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and secure the Corebid platform, generate proposals and exports you request, connect third-party services you authorize (such as Google Drive or supplier pricing), communicate about your account, and improve product reliability. We do not sell your takeoff or proposal data to other contractors.

AI features

When enabled, proposal writing may send project context and takeoff summaries to our AI provider to draft scope language. You control what is generated and should review all AI output before sending bids.

Analytics & error monitoring

We use product analytics and error monitoring services to understand how Corebid is used and to diagnose reliability issues. When configured, these tools may receive page views, performance metrics, product events (such as proposal generation), and error reports tied to your account id and email. We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error tracking. Session recordings, when enabled, mask form inputs by default.

Sharing & retention

We share data with infrastructure vendors (hosting, database, email) under contractual safeguards, and with integrations you connect. We retain account and project data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support exports, billing, and legal obligations.

Your choices

You may access, correct, or delete much of your data through the app or by contacting privacy@Corebid.com. Team administrators can manage org member access from Settings.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and isolated storage for customer files. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and limit account sharing.
